Happy 38th Anniversary!!

I'm a day late but I wanted to say Happy Anniversary to my mom and dad!! 38 years is wayyyy long and I'm so inspired by them. I hope and pray that Josh and I will one day celebrate our 38th anniversary.

So many people today just give up and run away from their problems. You don't say "I do" in front of God and your family just to get in a fight and leave. You are supposed to fight for your marriage!!! Love and marriage can be hard but it is all worth it!! Mom and Dad, happy anniversary!!! Thanks for showing me the true many of a marriage!!!

Josh, I love you babe!!! We only have 32 more years and we will be caught up with them!!!! Thanks for being my person and sharing this awesome life with me!!!

Reunited

Saturday night I had my 10 year class reunion...if that doesn't make ya feel old I don't know what will!! I'm going to be honest...I wasn't real excited about going but ended up having a great time!! It was great to hang out with my close friends but also good to see people that I don't get to see often or just "see" on Facebook!!

If you have paid any attention to the news you know Isaac the hurricane is brewing out there so we have been preparing for it. If you haven't experienced pre hurricane madness you are missing out....everything on the lines of batteries, water, ice, gas, bread, etc. sells out and people start going crazy!!! If you think Walmart is bad on a regular day, you don't want to go a few days leading up to a hurricane potentially hitting your area. Right now it looks like it is going west of us but you just never know!! I hope everyone stays safe!!!

On another note..my mom, uncle, aunt and cousin are traveling to Houston to MD Anderson for a doctors appointment for my uncle!!! Will you please keep them in your prayers!! We need some good news!!!!!!

It's Official!!!

On Tuesday we went to the courthouse to finalize Adalyn's adoption!  What a great day!  She has been part of our life the day we found out the birthmom was pregnant but now it is on paper that she is our beautiful daughter!!!!!!

 

I can't believe we have two healthy kids that just make our life that much better!

 

I can't say it enough that God has blessed my little family so much. 

 

 

Aunt Pris and Uncle Ray got to come with us!!  It was so great having them there with us!  They are such a huge part of our life!!  

 

Isn't she just beautiful!!  I love this girl!!

STOP

Sometimes you just have to stop everything, look around, and enjoy this moment.  This life.  Life gets so busy sometimes and we get wrapped up in our busy lives and forget to treasure the special moments.

If something were to happen to me today I could honestly say I love my life and the people in it.  With that being said...nothing is perfect, I have my problems, my insecurities, bad days, but all in all I love this life God has given me.  It hasn't always been that way, but I have made changes and life is good.  Life is way to short not to enjoy it.

Take one minute and stop what you are doing and see that you have so much to be thankful for. 

AG 2 Months

We took Adalyn to her appointment on Wednesday!  She is 11 pounds 14 oz and 25 inches long!! (Josiah was 12 lbs 4 oz and was 24 1/2 inches long..check it out here..) I can't believe she has gained 5 pounds and 5 inches since she was born!!!  She is such a great baby!!  I don't want to brag too much because I don't want to jinx anything, but let's just say she sleeps way better than Josiah ever did!  We are truly blessed.  She is in 0-3 clothes and size 1 diapers.  She drinks 4-5 oz of formula every 3 hours until she goes to bed.  She still sleeps a ton during the day, but we enjoy her sweet smiles while she is awake.  I love watching her learn new things.  Josiah is still so good with her!  I hope that lasts forever...haha!
