I have to admit...

I AM ADDICTED TO..

1. Facebook
2. Text messages/ Google Talk
3. Blogs
4. Emails
5. Games on my Droid
6. Chocolate...this one I'm never going to give up! Ha!

I need an intervention or something. I can NOT put my phone down. So.......

I am going to take a step back and not talk/email/text/whatever else I do and enjoy some family time! This doesn't mean I'm not going to do these things..I'm just not going to do them as much. If I don't reply to these things immediately please don't think I am ignoring you. I will get back to you..just not as quick as I usually do.

Wee Bit WEDNESDAY

I thought I would change it up a little bit and do something different around here on the blog!

wow...there is so many to choose from but I would have to say ONIONS

i think i have 8 but i probably only wear 6...the other ones i just can seem to fit in since i have a love for junk food

i wouldn't change my job for anything! i love my job!

yes, unfortunately way tooooo many times

one...and it's a flat one..not a huge fan of big fluffy pillows

-10...i am awful about being organized, maybe one day...

Out of house

Josiah is a good eater but he is becoming picky! Does that make since? He likes certain things right now but he won't try anything new. So I feel like he eats the same thing everyday!

Today he is eating me out of house... for breakfast he ate a whole bowl of oatmeal (I am full if I eat that) then he ate some strawberries and drank some milk.

He has a snack around 9:30 which consisted of one of those cups of pineapples some honey nut cheerios and I split a banana with him.

Lunch was at 11:00 and he ate a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, some grape tomatoes, a few grapes, a strawberry, a small handful of teddy grams and wanted more but I cut him off so he could take a nap. Almost forgot milk too.

He will want another snack when he wakes up and then dinner around 5:30. I wish I could eat all day long!! :)

Getting old!

You know yo are getting old when you get excited over something as small as a towel rack! We are constantly using new towels because we are always wondering whose towel is whose. The amount of towels we go through is ridiculous. So I got really excited to find one of these at walmart during our family outing! Here's to less time spent on laundry!

Everyone in the house has now had THE SICKNESS....

For the last 4 days I have been hiding out in my room under 18 blankets hyped up on antibiotics, tylenol, and cough meds. This stuff is hardcore..I haven't been this sick in a very long time. I am finally feeling a little better, but no where close to 100%.

I was suppose to take Josiah to his 18 month check up on Thursday but I was running a 102 fever so I decided to cancel and reschedule it for Monday.

Enough about us sick folks.. I have been awful about taking pictures lately because we really haven't done anything. Today we bummed around the house so I decided to take some pictures of this sweet boy.

One of his favorite things to do this day is puzzles.

My dad brought Josiah's stroller back to us today and Josiah decided he wanted to play in it...so guess what? I let him!

Hopefully tomorrow I will be feeling up to par so we can actually do something this weekend! I hope everyone has a great weekend and that everyone stays healthy!!

Again?!

Josh and I are ready to start the adoption process again as I have talked about before. We really wanted to go with Bethany again because we had such a great experience with them, but for some reason the Bethany here in Pensacola is $6,000 MORE than last time! I just can't get over that. We barely have enough money to do it again and we definitely don't have $6,000 more. So we have been praying about it a lot lately. I called another big company and received some information about them on Friday. We aren't sure what we are going to do yet. We are just praying that God leads us to the right place. I really can't wait to see what He has in store for us! Josh and I are going to talk to this company and get a little bit more information. If we hear what we like we might start the process soon!!!!! :)

Not so fun weekend

Guess what?! I got my new labtop!!! I have no excuse not to update more often! Haha! We will see about that!

Thursday I went with Jaime to her doctor's appointment! I was so excited to see baby Carter on the ultrasound! I saw him before but it had been awhile. We went to her appointment and the doc said her amniotic fluid was a little too low so she needed to be admitted for the night. They pumped her up with some steroids and some fluids and she was on her way the next day! I am so glad she got to go home! I can't wait to meet him, but I want him to bake a little longer! :)

Friday was a busy day. I got ready and Josiah and I went up to the hospital to take Jaime some magazines. We stayed up there for a little while and then went and met Ms. Debbie, Wendi and Ashley for lunch at Applebees! Friday night I met up with Linsday and we went to the mall. I was going to try to find some little hats for Carter that Jaime wanted but they didn't have any. We ran over to Sonny's and picked up some food for Jaime and Brad. Took that up to the hospital and then went back to Sonny's to eat! Lindsay and I had a great time catching up! I headed home around 8:00 and relaxed on the couch with my love!

It seems like every time I turn around someone is sick. Josh was sick last week. Josh said while I was gone Josiah was fussy and running a little fever so he gave him some Tylenol before bed. Josiah cried out around 4:00 but went straight back to sleep. Well....I couldn't go back to sleep and something told me to go check on Josiah. I went into his room and felt his head..it was on fire! I ran and got the thermometer and checked him and it said 104.7 (this lil man can run a fever). I went and woke Josh up and told him that we had to get Josiah up and in the bath. We woke Josiah up and you could tell he didn't feel good. His little cheeks were so red and he was out of it. He was pitiful. It really broke my heart to see him like that. We finally got his fever to go down, but it was a rough night. There is not too many things that are worse than your child being sick.

Saturday was a day full of fussiness and fevers. Josiah wouldn't eat anything and barely would drink. I decided to make some tea (Josiah's favorite drink, but I don't let him have it very often!) I should have thought of that before because he drank it up!

Today he is finally feeling a little bit better and his temp has been around 100 so it is a lot better! He is playing and running around! Thank goodness! Hopefully he will continue to feel better!

Thursday we take Josiah for his 18 month check up!!!!

New Years...

New Years Eve I didn't take any pictures because I didn't want to take my good camera out. We went to Josh's friend's house and then went downtown. Next year I believe I will sit at my house and do NOTHING! I have mentioned before that I'm not a fan of BIG crowds...well I made a huge mistake by going downtown. At one point you could not even move..I thought I was going to have a panic attack (if I had those).


Did anyone make a New Years resolution? Do people make those still? I usually do, but I decided I wouldn't make something that I stick to for maybe a week at the most.


I did however make a goal..if you want to call it that. I decided that I was going to finish up my bachelors degree! I have 10 or so classes left. I was going to finish when we first moved away but I got sick and then one thing lead to another and here I am 4 years later without accomplishing that. So...with that being said I have applied to Troy for their e-campus. I am so excited! Does that make me a nerd? Oh well...I got my application in too late because I decided I was doing this at the last minute so I can't start until March! Can't wait.

Update

I have been such a slacker when it comes to updating this! Now I am so far behind I don't even know where to begin!! Ahh...

Josh has to use my laptop to do his work that he has been bringing home so I have had no time to do anything on it. We are thinking about purchasing another laptop (thank goodness)!

I promise to get caught up soon!
