Swim Lessons

(sorry for the awful quality pics i forgot my camera!) Josiah started swim lessons yesterday at UWF! It was lightening so they only got to swim for about 10 minutes. Presley and Cooper are in his class and I think they all had a really good time! The dads got in with the kids, it was too cute! I am looking forward to Tuesday and Thursday! I think we might have a little fish on our hands! :)

I also signed Josiah up for Mother's Day out at a local church! I am nervous and excited! He doesn't start that though until August so I have a little time to prepare myself. Our little guy is getting so big!

Saturday

We really didn't have too much going on this weekend! Friday night we watched a movie and Saturday I had a mid-term so the boys went to the gun show. Saturday afternoon we had Cooper's 2nd birthday party! It was so much fun! I didn't take a whole bunch of pictures because we were in the pool most of the time but here are a few...

When I told Josiah we were going to a birthday party the first thing he said was "Cake?" Presley and Josiah are so cute together! They were both trying to get in the cooler!

Josiah has never hit a ball before. He isn't the "ball" type of kid. He loves to figure out how things work and he loves to play with tools. I think he enjoyed hitting the ball for the first time.

We will definitely have to work on his hitting skills!! :)
Cooper is good at all sports! He is so cute!

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Hopefully I can write about last weekend a little, I just haven't had the time. I have been studying for my midterm and making invitations for Josiah's 2nd birthday party! I know 2nd?! I'd rather not talk about him getting so big!!!! :(

Brownies

It is no secret around here that I.Love.Chocolate. Well I bought some brownies to make for our new neighbors. They aren't moving in just yet, and I had a horrible day yesterday so I decided to make them for myself!!!! I haven't ever had these but I highly recommend them!!!! They just melt in your mouth!

I have another confession to make. Do you ever buy something or bake something and then try to hide them from yourself? For instance, I made these brownies last night. I hid them in the microwave, thinking that would keep me from eating them. Um...no? Did I think I would forget they were in there??? I don't think so. I hope someone else gets over here to eat them or they are going to be gone!

P.S. I bought some more today so I could bake them for the neighbors when they actually do move in! Hopefully I won't have another bad day or they might just get a nice little "Welcome" card!! :)

Happy Father's Day

We had a very busy weekend! I will blog about that later. Sunday we had an awesome day! It started off with breakfast at Golden Corral, swimming in the pool with Josh's family then dinner at my parents' house! We had a very good day!

Here are my two favorite Dad's

I am so lucky to have these two men in my life! God definitely blessed me and I couldn't be more thankful! My dad has taught me so much and he has put up with me through a lot! I am so glad we are so close these days!!!!

Josh is such an amazing dad! I love how Josh will let Josiah help him vacuum or help him hang pictures in the hallway just so Josiah can use the mammer (hammer)! I love seeing Josh and Josiah play and laugh together! It melts my heart!

Thank you guys for being absolutely amazing! I love you both with all my heart and thanks for helping me be who I am today!!!! You guys rock!

Friday and Saturday

Yall probably think I am obsessed with food, but I'm really not. (maybe a little) Anywho...My friend Lauren brought these to a little get together last week and they are awesome! I am not a huge fan of Sun Chips, but these are an exception! If you like spicy stuff give these a try!!!

Friday night after Josiah went to bed, Josh went out to eat with some of our friends for BJ's going away dinner! I was sad to miss out, but someone had to stay home with Josiah! Rach's hubby was out of town so she came over and we watched "Roommate". I was a little skeptical at first because I don't usually watch scary movies, Comedy Romance are my ultimate favorite. It actually turned out to be a pretty good movie! Saturday I met Lindsay and we got a smoothie from Smoothie King and went and got a much needed pedicure! Afterwards I ran to TJMaxx and looked for some decor for our room. I found a few cute things. Wendi and Rach called and wanted to meet up for lunch at O'Charley's. I was on the phone with Josh when I got to the restaurant and I got out the car and locked the door manually. As soon as I shut the door I realized I still had the key in the ignition!!!!! Talk about dumb blond moment. I felt like an I.D.I.O.T. I have never locked my keys in the car...NEVER! I guess you live and learn!

I came home after lunch and hung out with my boys! Josh and I put Josiah down for bed and mom came over to watch him while we went and ate at 2 Stix. If you live in Pensacola you have to try this place. It was very yummy! The service is awesome and we had enough leftovers to eat it again Sunday night! Highly recommend that place! After dinner Josh and I ran to Publix and rented "How Do You Know". To be completely honest I got bored with this movie. Kinda wish I would have went to sleep instead. Don't get me wrong its sorta cute, but it feels like it goes on forever.

Fiesta Parade

Tonight we met Josh at work and headed downtown for the Fiesta Parade! I was a little worried that it was going to be crowded but it was perfect! Not a lot of people and Josiah had a blast!

I can't get over how much fun Josiah had! He was dancing and waving to everyone so he could get beads! He is just so cute!

I am looking forward to a low-key weekend! Well, at least that is what I am hoping for! We always find something to do!!! Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

almonds

We really haven't been doing much of anything lately but I did want to share a great find! We were in Walmart the other day and I passed by these almonds! They are A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.!!!!!!!! They had vanilla flavored too but I decided to go with the cinnamon. Im pretty sure they can't be as healthy as just plain almonds, but I know they have to be better than eating M&Ms!!!! So if you like almonds you should try these!

My Man...

I want to say Congratulations to the most hard working man EVER!!!!! Josh got a promotion on Friday!!!!!!! He works so hard so we can live a wonderful life! He goes in early and stays late and still finds time to be the best dad and husband!!! Joshy you make me so proud and I am the luckiest woman ever! I love you!!!!

Summertime is so much fun!!! Last summer Josiah was too young to do a whole lot of fun activities, but this year is a different story! We have been having so much fun and I am looking forward to the rest of the summer. I just wish it would S....L....O....W down a bit.

So far this summer a few of my favorite things are....

Seeing Josiah spend time with family. I had 2 of his cousins come spend the night with us and we baked cookies together!!
I love fruit, almost all of it, but my favorite right now is watermelon!!! I could eat it all day! Now if I can get Josiah to eat it....

Ok..so I don't like tomatoes....I know, I'm weird.. I don't even like ketchup! Well, Josiah LOVES tomatoes (he even loves to dip his tomatoes in ketchup). Why is this on my favorite list? Well, even though I don't like them, I love growing them in my garden and I love seeing Josiah get excited when he gets to pick them off of our tomato plant.

I was at Lindsay's house the other day and her mom brought out some peanut butter. I probably eat a peanut butter sandwich 4 times a week. I know real healthy..oh well! I have never had this before, but if you like peanut butter you should try it....

I already told y'all, but I could possibly go to the beach everyday. If gas wasn't so expensive and if I didn't have to pack my whole house to go to the beach I would probably be out there everyday. I guess I will have to go once a week and go to my parents' pool the other days.
