In the previous post I talked about reading Crazy Love. In the chapter I just read the author said, "In about fifty years no one will remember you. Everyone you know will be dead. Certainly no one will care,what job you had, what car you drove, what school you attended or what clothes you wore...."
Wow! That is so true! Why do we care so much about those things?! i am guilty of this! God isn't going to let you in Heaven because you drive to Yale in a BMW while wearing Prada! (no offense to anyone that has any of that!!)

So true! That's something that I have struggled with in the past, but am totally learning to let go. I feel so much better already! It's nice to be reminded that earthly materials have absolutely no value. It's all about who we love and how we live with the ultimate goal being to reach the Kingdom of Heaven :)
I'm guilty of that too!! Our society is always pushing for more, more, more. It's difficult to slow down and be thankful for everything that you already have! I'm working on it too! :) I'm glad you posted this!
