I can't believe I am going to post this......

......but since this precious little bright eyed boy does NOT like to take very long naps....

.....this is what my laundry room looks like.... I know...I'm crazy for putting this online, but I needed to do this so that I would hurry up and clean it up!!! Josiah takes 30 minute naps here and there and by the time I start to clean he is awake! Hopefully tonight I will get it all done.

Finalization

We received something from our attorney's office yesterday letting us know that our adoption will be FINAL on December 15, 2009!!! What a great early Christmas present! We have been waiting for this day for 3 months and can't wait to celebrate! We are so blessed to be Josiah's parents!

Birthday Celebration

This year I turned the big 2-5! I woke up Thursday morning and Josh had me a present so I opened it and it was an Philadelphia Eagles jersey and some peanut butter M&Ms! This birthday was full of surprises...

SURPRISE #1 - Josh came home for lunch Thursday to hang out with us on my birthday!

SURPRISE #2 - Josh brought home another gift for me at lunch time which was a LAPTOP!

SURPRISE #3 - Lindsay and Crystal (some of my best friends from Pensacola) drove all night Friday night to be here and surprise me Saturday morning!

SURPRISE #4 - We were going to get pedicures and go shopping all day!!!!!

Friday my mom, dad, and brother came up to celebrate my birthday and then we went to Stone Mountain on Sunday.

Our Little Punkin'

Isn't he the cutest lil' punkin ever!?!?We went to Uncle Shuck's pumpkin patch last Sunday with our Growth Group from church. It was pretty cold out, but we had tons of fun. We rode the hay ride and Josiah fell asleep on it!

3 Months Old

Little man is doing great!!! We didn't have to take him to the doctor this month (thank goodness, that means no shots!) but that means we don't have height or weight. Josh and i weighed him and he is 13 pounds 2 oz. He is starting to have a little personality and is soo stinkin' cute! He smiles all the time and is even giggling a little! He loves to eat and he has been sleeping so good!

2 Months Old

I am super late on posting this, but we have been really busy.....

We took Josiah for his 2 month check up and he now weighs 12 pounds 4 ounces and is 23 1/2 inches long! Josiah is still wearing size 1 diapers and he is wearing 0-3 month old clothes, depending on the brand! He is so strong - holding his head up and he loves to stand up! He smiles a lot now (which melts my heart!!) He is just growing up wayyy to fast! Josiah is sleeping about 7 hours through the night and then he gets up and eats and goes back to sleep for a few hours. He hates taking naps during the day..which we are working on!
