Waiting Game

So.....today is NOT the day Adalyn will be born!! :(  There wasn't enough reason to go ahead and have a C-section, but the good news is she gets to grow a little bit more and we get go back in 2 days to see if there is any progress!!!  So please pray for progress and hopefully she will be here on Thursday!!!  Woohoo!

Is tomorrow the day?!

Tomorrow could be the third best day of my life!

Adalyn could possibly be born tomorrow and I am totally freaking out (in a good way!!). We head to the doctor at 7:30 a.m. to see how the birthmom is doing! The doctor told her not to eat anything past midnight and if her blood pressure was still up he would do a C-section.

I might meet my daughter tomorrow! So exciting!!! How in the world am I supposed to sleep?! I'm not sure either so that is why I'm writing this and playing on pinterest! Hoping I will get sleepy soon.

I will be in the OR while they do the C-section!!! I am a little nervous but can't wait to experience it and hear my sweet angel cry for the first time!!!

Ahhh!!!! Well I will keep y'all posted and please keep everyone in your prayers!

Beach Day!

Today was great!  We got to go to the beach as a family!  I love that Josiah LOVES the beach and the outdoors.  On our way to the beach we picked up Josh's father's day/anniversary present!  PADDLE BOARD!!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!!  Someone is coming tomorrow to start the floors for us!  I can't wait for it to be done so I can finish getting my house ready for our baby girl!!!

Floor DIY Disaster!!

Josh and his little helper pulled up all of our carpet yesterday in the living room, dining room and hallway.  Last night Josh and I prepared the floor for the new wood flooring!  Everything was going pretty smoothly.

We needed something at Home Depot and then we made a pit stop to TCBY.  What can I say...when you work that hard you deserve a little bit of yogurt!!

This morning Josh's parents came over to start with the floors.  Here is Josiah.  The boy loves anything to do with tools. 

They got a little of the flooring done but it wasn't working out just right so we have stopped and decided to have someone come finish it for us.  It was a little harder than anticipated.  Now I am freaking out because my house is a disaster!!  With my luck Adalyn will show up early :)  But once the floor is done it is going to look soooo good!  We are hoping to get out to the beach tomorrow!  Yippee!!!!

This weekend

Whew...

School is finally over for now and I can focus on the last minute things before Adalyn comes!! Her room is basically liveable but there is some little touches I want to make before she gets here. I need to finish up her curtains, hang out her name on the wall and add some little stuff here and there! I took some onesies over to a friends house so they can be monogrammed! I can't wait to see what they look like!

This weekend we (I mean Josh and some peeps) are putting in our new floor in the dining room/living room/hallway! I cannot wait for it to be done! It is going to look amazing! I hope they get it done in one day because I would love to get one more beach day in before our sweet angle makes her appearance!

Josiah is so excited about Adalyn. We were headed to her 36 week appointment yesterday and he said I want her to be here NOW! Me too sweet boy! He asked if he is going to be able to hold her by himself.  I think he is going to be an excellent big brother!

I know...I haven't been posting very often, but I have been very busy!!!  School is kicking my butt, but thankfully after today I will have a little bit of  a break!  I did want to write down though for my records that today we went to the doctor and found out that we are sheduled for a C-section for June 6th if she doesn't grace us before then!!!!  I can't believe she will be here soon!
