I try not to vent on here, because who wants to hear someone complain when everyone has their own issues?!?!
Yesterday was very eventful! We were suppose to close on the house at 2:00.
While Josiah took his morning nap I got ready and was about to do some stuff online for work. I got on the computer and the internet wasn't working. No big deal...I just would do the work another day. This went on for a little while..didn't think too much about. I thought maybe Cox (our internet company) was just working on something and it would be back up and running shortly.
Anyway, I say all of that because....
Guess who also has Cox Internet???? The company that was finalizing our closing. So they called and told us we had to push it off till 3:00. At 2:00 they called us and said to come in and they would start the paperwork but they still didn't have all the information because the internet was still down. 1.) What in the world did we do before internet and 2.) who waits till the day of closing to get all of the information??? So we ended up being there at 2:30-5:30.
But we are HOMEOWNERS even if it took forever!
Last night we took our refrigerator over!
Tonight I am going over there to tape off the living room so I can paint tomorrow!
Sunday we are moving everything in!!! YAY!
Sorry for the complaining! Promise not to do it again anytime soon!

Excitement!
- Monday we had our walk-through on our house! Everything looked perfect except some paint needed to be touched up here and there..No biggie! We had an issue with a pipe hanging outside of the house that looked super tacky, but they promised to fix it before we move in!
- I started working again today! I know what you are thinking...how can I be away from that cute little face?! Well....It is only ONE day a week! Haha! I know I don't know how I am going to be able to do it! My friend Rachel's dad needed some help around the office so I am going to go in one day a week and work a little from home here and there. I am super excited about it! Everyone needs extra cash these days!
- SOOOO....the most exciting part of this week is that we close tomorrow! At 2:00 we will own our 3rd house! Luckily we sold the first one and we rent out the 2nd one! I can't wait to own a house in Cantonment! I'm so excited to make it our "home" where our friends and family can come hang out!
LIFE IS GOOD! (I might not be saying that this weekend while I am unpacking, but it will be worth it)

Seafood Festival
Josh had to get up way too early to go take a test for a class that he is taking at UWF. While Josh was gone Granny watched Josiah so I could clean and wash some laundry. After Josh got home and Josiah got up from his nap we headed over to our house to look at it one more time before we have our walk through on Monday!
Look at all of that hair! I don't even know what to do with it anymore - I guess we will have to cut it soon! But he is so stinkin' cute!

This is our house completely done!! It is beautiful! Well at least I think so!
Josiah had so much fun running around the house checking things out..

They both had to check out the bath....

Once we were done at the house we headed downtown to the seafood festival. Not my cup of tea since I don't like seafood..but we had a lot of fun and Josh thought the food was pretty tasty! I'm not a fan of sooo many people in a small area but I'm glad we went!

I realized when we left I didn't get a picture of Josh and Josiah so this is what I got! I love downtown and the way the trees fall over the walkways!

I hope everyone has had a great weekend so far! Tomorrow I'm going to hang out with some of the girls while Josh and Josiah go watch football! GO EAGLES!

We are in trouble. He can now reach the doorknobs and can almost open them!
They had an area for kids which I thought was pretty neat. There were a ton of dogs there jumping in a pool and of course this lil' guy enjoyed watching them.

Park
I'm trying to be a better blogger....

I got up and took Josiah to the park and brought the camera so I could take some pictures of him! I decided to take my old camera so I wouldn't have to carry my big camera around while chasing Josiah. Well, the old camera just wouldn't cooperate and take any good pictures so I have NOTHING. I don't know if it is because I am use to the awesome quality of my new camera or if something is wrong with the old camera. But I don't have any evidence of going to the park.
Josiah wasn't too sure about the park. I have taken him to a park before and he ran around but he just isn't sure what to do. I am hoping that the more I take him the more he will enjoy it. We stayed for about half an hour and then headed back to the house where he enjoyed playing with the water hose, as usual! (this is why the kid never has clothes on...he always gets them wet with the hose!)

House and Baby Fever
You know how I said in the last post that I had a little bit of baby fever....
Josh and I have been saying that once we move into our new house we would start the adoption process again! Well, our closing date on the house is September 29th...one week from today! Woohoo! I can't wait to move in..I just wish I could snap my fingers and all the boxes be unpacked and everything be put in the right place.
Anyway, I was looking at the Bethany Christian website last night and decided to go ahead and send an email to let them know that we wanted to start the process again! I know Josiah is still pretty young, but they say once you have a child it usually takes longer to adopt the second one. I thought if we go ahead and start the process again maybe by the time he is two we might have our second baby! I can't wait to see what God has in store for us this time around!

Georgia Trip
So I was a horrible blogger this weekend and didn't take very many pictures...I don't know what my deal is! I always have it with me, but I guess I am too busy running after Josiah to take any pictures.
Josh was going to try to get off early on Friday so that we could go ahead and leave to head to Cumming, Ga. We were a little worried if we left before dark that Josiah would be miserable. Josh ended up getting off at 12 so we packed up the car and headed out around 1:00. Josiah totally proved us wrong because he was perfect! I had tons of toys, snacks, and drinks for him! This is what we did most of the way.....
For whatever reason he had fun putting my "clock" on his foot and then taking it off! Hey, whatever makes him happy!
We got to Ken's (Josh's friend) house right around 8:30 there time. We hung out, put Josiah to bed and then went to bed ourselves.
Saturday morning we got up at some Chik-fil-a for breakfast and then went to Walmart to get some food for our cookout! We were having chicken, hot dogs, macaroni -n- cheese and baked beans! My friend Andrea wanted to try to make her Aunt's banana pudding so we bought the stuff to make it too. It was really good...
After we made the mac-n-cheese and the banana pudding we went to the pool for a little while! We had a lot of fun just sitting around relaxing!
Later that night Brad, Lindsay and their little girl Hollie (so cute) came over and cooked out with us. Josiah liked giving kisses to Hollie...

Sunday was a very busy day!
Our friends Stacie and Matthew (they were in our adoption class) just received there baby last Friday! I have been praying for them so much it was really great to see God work out every little detail for their family!! Andrea and I went over to meet baby Cole Sunday morning! Josh and Josiah were going to come with me, but Josiah had a runny nose so I didn't want him to get Cole sick. Cole was absolutely perfect! I am so happy for Stacie and Matthew! I was in tears when I read the email that Stacie sent out about being chosen by Cole's birthmom! Cole was so tiny and I definitely got a little bit of baby fever!
After we left from seeing Cole, Josh and I had a cookout with our old Church group! Man do I miss them! It was so good seeing them! Josiah had so much fun playing with a little girl named Macy. They would chase each other around and Josiah would just laugh and laugh. This was Josiah right after we pulled out of their driveway...he was worn out...

We left the group's cookout around 5 :00 and then headed over to Alicia and Zach's house. They were also in our Church group but they couldn't make it to the cookout because they had company in town. So we stopped by their house for a few minutes! Josiah was very cranky because he only got a 15 minute nap in the car.
We left their house and had one more stop for the day. Josh's old co-worker Mike and his wife Katie asked us to stop by. We hung out their for about 45 minutes and Josiah was so tired so we headed back to Ken's to put him down for the night. (I'm tired just writing about all of that..Whew!)
Once we got Josiah down Andrea came over to Ken's to help me bake cookies for Josh's old work. They love my cookies (I honestly think that is the only reason why they miss us! HAHA)!
Monday morning we got up, got ready and headed to see everyone at Tyson. Josh wanted to see everyone and I promised I would take them cookies! We stayed there for a little over an hour and then we headed into Atlanta for my doctor's appointment.
My appointments were finally over around 2:00 and we were Pensacola bound! The trip back wasn't as good as the way up because Josiah didn't take a nap but it wasn't too bad. I had an awesome time and can't wait to go back in 3 months!

Josh's Birthday continued......
Saturday night Josh and I decided to go over to Malbis to eat dinner. We ate at California Dreaming. It was awesome food, good atmosphere and a heck of a good time! We usually go out to eat somewhere that we have been 3879 times so it was nice to go somewhere new. We will be going back though since it was so good!
Here is a pic of us as a family before we left...
Sunday we got up and hung around the house. As I have mentioned Josiah likes to play outside every waking moment. His favorite thing to play with is the hose.
It scares us because he gets so close to the pool so we are always right by him....
Josh was close to the pool....too close...and he fell in! HAHA!! I was going to help him but I had my camera in my hand and I couldn't take the chance of him pulling me in too! So he decided to stay in and let Josiah get in with him!
Sunday afternoon we went over to Josh's parent's house to celebrate Josh's birthday. We had a great BBQ and watched football! Too bad the Eagles lost! :( Oh well maybe next week!
Here is a pic of us as a family before we left...
I heart this picture...
Here is Josh, Josiah, Taylor and Samantha (our nieces)

I can never get a good pic of all three of them and this is the best one yet!

I know this cake doesn't look the greatest...but I have to admit it was delicious. I know what you are thinking...I made Josh a pink cake... Well strawberry is his all time favorite so I tried a new recipe that has real strawberries in it and I could have devoured the whole cake myself! (and I'm not even a big fan of strawberry cake!)
